The following types of advertisements are completely prohibited from being broadcast on the radio:
Political Advertising: Ads that promote a political party, influence the outcome of an election, or are designed to sway public debate on matters of political or industrial controversy.
Smoking & Tobacco: Advertisements for cigarettes, tobacco products, and related promotional material are strictly banned.
Misleading, Harmful, or Offensive Ads: Any advertisement that contains misleading claims, encourages unsafe practices, or violates generally accepted standards of taste and decency.
Sexual Entertainment Services: Commercials for adult entertainment, premium-rate sex lines, and sexual services are prohibited.
Illegal & Restricted Goods: Products or services that cannot be legally sold or endorsed in the UK cannot be advertised.
